Ipswich is a proper museum with staff that are enthusiasts who will talk to you about the stuff on show.
Ever since I was taken by my mum to see the big whale in the Natural History Museum in London these places have amazed me. How can rows of glass cases look so boring and be so involving and wondrous when you look into them ?
